Set across multiple venues and spaces around town, the festival showcases a diverse program of live music, spanning folk, roots, blues, soul, country, indie and contemporary Australian sounds. It is a weekend built around good people, great tunes and the easy charm of Marysville itself, with performances unfolding throughout the town rather than in one single festival site.

Relaunched in 2026, Marysville Music Weekend builds on the foundations created by original founder Peter Guest and the continued support of the Marysville and District Lions Club. What began as a small, community-driven event has grown into a much-loved regional festival, shaped by local volunteers, visiting artists and the people who return each year to be part of it.
