Murrindindi Wine Weekend – Meet the Makers 2026
A weekend of hidden vineyards, country roads and small-batch tasting experiences near Marysville
The Murrindindi Wine Weekend is set to return on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May 2026, inviting visitors to explore one of Victoria’s lesser-known wine regions just beyond Marysville.
Unlike larger wine regions where cellar doors line the main road, Murrindindi’s vineyards are fewer in number and more tucked away, spread across valleys, hills and winding country roads. That quieter, more local feel is part of the appeal. The weekend offers a chance to discover boutique makers, meet the people behind the wines, and take in a different side of the wider Yarra Valley and High Country region at a slower pace.
While the full 2026 program is still to be released, the event has previously centred around a trail of participating wineries across the Murrindindi region, with tastings, maker-led experiences and food offerings forming part of the weekend. With just a handful of vignerons involved, it feels personal rather than crowded, making it well suited to couples, groups of friends and anyone looking to build a regional weekend around local wine, scenic drives and time away.
